Hainan Haiyao's (SHE:000566) subsidiary, Haikou Pharmaceutical Factory, received a drug registration certificate for vonoprazan fumarate tablets, according to a Shenzhen bourse disclosure on Tuesday.
The drug is used as a treatment for reflux esophagitis and for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori when used in combination with appropriate antibiotics, the Chinese drugmaker said.
