Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) said assays from the first eight drill holes at the SW3 and SW4 prospects, part of the Dante polymetallic project in Western Australia, confirmed the discovery of titanium-vanadium-copper-cobalt-platinum group metal sulfide reefs, adding a new style of mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of four meters at 0.54% grade of copper-equivalent, 1,228 parts per million cobalt, and 0.16% grade of nickel from five meters, as well as 59 meters at 0.95% grade of copper-equivalent and 172 ppm grade of cobalt from 131 meters. Copper Equivalent was used to report copper, gold, platinum, palladium, titanium oxide, and vanadium pentoxide.
Assays are pending for a further 45 holes across multiple prospects. Downhole electromagnetic surveys are underway across six diamond drill holes targeting recently reported high-sulfide zones.
