Early November data also highlights further momentum, with daily rates averaging 470cu.m per day – another 19 per cent lift on the October average.Water production - a critical factor in lowering reservoir pressure to liberate additional gas - has remained robust and stable at 502 barrels per day.Key to the production increase was an increase in pump uptime to 97 per cent from 86 per cent in September, achieved through adherence to the company’s revised reservoir management plan (RMP) and the adoption of a more reliable power source.Since implementing the RMP, the company has experienced no pump blockages, reinforcing confidence in its new slower and less aggressive production strategy.TMK has also completed initial reservoir simulation modelling incorporating historical data, well performance and known reservoir parameters.October was our best month yet with record gas production achieved and an upward trend continuing in recent weeks, which along with good water rates, is a great sign.TMK Energy CEO Dougal FergusonThe modelling provides important predictive insights into estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) and economics from typical vertical, unstimulated wells in the upper coal seam. Results are being integrated into a detailed pre-feasibility study expected in the coming months.A major milestone achieved recently for the company was the on-site commencement of Operations Superintendent Mr Brad Reeve in early November, to be located at the pilot well project in Mongolia on a rotational basis.Reeve’s immediate priorities will include reviewing safety and environmental processes, driving operating efficiencies and investigating on-site power generation that would use gas that is currently being flared.His minerals industry background, including experience with Rio Tinto and Gold Fields, combined with strong Mongolia connections, including extended time in-country, family ties, cultural and some language familiarity, positions him ideally for the role.Reeve’s appointment comes around the same time as TMK’s other staff additions including CSG reservoir engineer Garry Ward who has been advising TMK since August and has been assisting with the implementation of the revised RMP that the company has now adopted.A third new part-time appointee is geoscientist and advisor Greg Channon, who is supporting exploration design, alongside project partnering which is due to get underway in the coming months.Channon is well known to the Board with almost four decades of multi-discipline subsurface and leadership experience from assignments based in Australia and internationally, including Mongolia and China.With production trending steadily upward, modelling complete and a strengthened field team in place, TMK is advancing toward beneficial gas use for onsite power generation and its next development phase at its Gurvantes XXXV project.Is your ASX-listed company doing something interesting?
