SD Guthrie (KLSE:SDG), formerly known as Sime Darby Plantation, said its profit attributable to owners surged 22% to 935 million ringgit in the third quarter from 766 million ringgit a year earlier.
Earnings per share went up to 0.135 ringgit from 0.111 ringgit a year ago, according to a Wednesday filing with Bursa Malaysia.
Revenue of the fats and oils refiner rose 4% to 5.41 billion ringgit from 5.27 billion ringgit.
The board did not recommend a dividend for the period.
