MT Newswires Live11-06

AMP (ASX:AMP) is set to fully redeem its AU$275 million capital notes 2 issued on Dec. 23, 2019, on Dec. 16, which is the optional exchange date, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Holders on the register as of Dec. 8 will receive AU$100 per note, together with a final distribution of AU$1.8508 per note for the period to Dec. 15 from Sept. 16, subject to the distribution terms, per the filing.

Trading of capital notes 2 on the Australian Securities Exchange is expected to end on Dec. 4, and off-market transfers will no longer be accepted after Dec. 8, the filing said.

The company stated that this redemption does not signal any plans for other regulatory capital instruments, any of which would require approval from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, the filing added.
