Freedom Holding Corp. reached an agreement with Kazakhstan to develop a $2 billion AI hub in the country.
The financial services and technology company said Friday the hub will be powered by sovereign everscale Nvidia AI infrastructure as part of an initiative to develop Kazakhstan's and Central Asia's AI offerings.
The Ministry of AI and Digital Development will support conditions for hosting and operating AI systems and will lead talent development programs for the hub. Freedom Holding will serve as the principal financing and implementation partner.
The hub is expected to be located at a site with 100 megawatts of available power.
Freedom Holding also published its fiscal second-quarter financial results. Sales fell 10% to $526.1 million.
