Hologic (HOLX) said Wednesday its Genius Digital Diagnostics System is now approved to image and review cell and tissue specimens after obtaining expanded CE marking in the European Union.
The system was previously CE marked for cell analysis, it said.
The system now offers European labs the ability to streamline digital pathology workflows using one solution for a variety of specimen types, the company said.
