Profound Medical signed a deal with Al Faisaliah Medical Systems to sell its Tulsa-Pro and Sonalleve medical devices in Saudi Arabia.

The company said the agreement with the Saudi-based healthcare equipment company establishes the distribution of Profound's surgery-free and radiation-free therapies for diseased tissue in Saudi Arabia.

Tulsa-Pro uses focused ultrasound guided by MRI to treat prostate diseases, and Sonalleve uses the same system to treat conditions like uterine fibroids.

Profound said both products have secured government approval to be imported and sold in Saudi Arabia.
