Endava Shares Sink on 1Q Revenue Decline

Shares of Endava fell after the company reported lower first-quarter revenue and swung to a loss.

The stock dropped 18% to $7.70 after closing Monday down 69% this year.

First-quarter revenue fell 8.6% to GBP178.2 million ($234.8 million). Analysts expected GBP182.1 million, according to FactSet.

The technology service company swung to a loss of GBP0.15 a share from a profit of GBP0.04 a share the year before.

Endava guided for second-quarter revenue between GBP179.0 million to GBP182.0 million and adjusted earnings of GBP0.15 to GBP0.17 a share.

Endava forecasted full-year revenue in the range of GBP735.0 million to GBP752.0 million and adjusted earnings of GBP0.80 to GBP0.88 per share.

Analysts see second-quarter revenue of GBP185.6 million and full-year revenue of GBP754.7 million.
