1348 ET - After Algonquin Power & Utilities delivered strong 3Q results, RBC's analyst Nelson Ng says there could be room for better-than-expected growth in 2025. In a report, the analyst says management remains focused on improving returns, closing the return-on-equity gap, and transitioning to a premium regulated pure-play utility. As it advances these goals, Ng says after a 3Q beat, 4Q needs only EPS of 2-4 cents to meet 2025 guidance of 30-32 cents, which compares with 6 cents consensus expectations. "We see some upside to management's 2025 guidance as the company advances rate cases and cost reduction initiatives," Ng says. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
