HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (KRX:329180) won a contract to build two container ships from an Asian shipper, according to a Monday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The deal is valued at 435.3 billion won, and represents 3% of the company's sales in 2024. The shipbuilder will deliver the container ships by Oct. 31, 2028.
Shares of the company rose nearly 2% in recent trade.
