Jardine Cycle & Carriage (SGX:C07) reported improvements across its businesses during the first nine months of the year, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
In Indonesia, Astra booked a decrease in its underlying profit due to a weaker Indonesian rupiah, which was offset by strong contributions from its financial services and agribusiness.
In Vietnam, THACO booked a higher volume of automotive sales, but its market share was impacted by a competitive market.
Meanwhile, Cycle & Carriage achieved higher profits, driven by higher sales of used cars.
