Damai Entertainment (HKG:1060) posted profit attributable to owners of 519.5 million yuan in the six months ended Sept. 30, up 54% from 336.6 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the firm were down nearly 7% in Friday's midday trade.
Earnings per share in the fiscal first half came in at 1.73 yuan, compared with 1.14 yuan a year ago.
Revenue rose 33% on year to 4.05 billion yuan from 3.05 billion yuan.
