National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) has withdrawn a resolution received from shareholders to be considered at the company's annual general meeting (AGM), according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

On Oct. 9, shareholders requested the bank to form a resolution to confirm its rating system indicates that the Bank has determined that the customer is aligned with the climate goals of the Paris agreement.

The resolution will not be considered at the AGM, as the shareholders who filed the report confirmed that the Bank's climate report has made "substantial" progress towards meeting the resolution request, the filing said.

Shares of the company fell past 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
