Sabre (SABR) said Thursday it has launched an AI-powered chat called SabreMosaic Concierge IQ for airlines.
The conversational generative AI tool is meant to help travelers plan, book, and manage trips, combining flights, hotels, and other third party services, the company said.
The chat tool can work on the web, airline apps, and WhatsApp, the company said.
The tool allows for planning and booking as well as rebooking, redemption of miles, processing of refunds, or tracking bags, the company said.
Virgin Australia is the first airline to adopt Concierge IQ, the company said.
Shares of the company were up 4.4% in recent premarket activity.
