Midwest Gold (BOM:526570) said its wholly owned subsidiary, Midwest Energy, has approved the incorporation of a new wholly owned unit in Sri Lanka, to be named Good Energy (Pvt) Ltd. or another name approved by local authorities, according to a Tuesday filing with the BSE.
Shares of the granite and marble company were down 5% in Wednesday's trade.
