MT Newswires Live11-18

Shares of travel services companies, including Booking (BKNG), Tripadvisor (TRIP) and Expedia (EXPE) fell in recent Monday trading after Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google said it launched new artificial intelligence features in Search to curate travel plans.

The Canvas tool in AI Mode can create detailed travel plans based on users' specific requirements, while upgraded Flight Deals feature enables travelers to swiftly discover affordable airfare, according to the company.

Google will also roll out AI Mode's agentic capabilities this week to streamline bookings and reservations across platforms and websites with real-time insights into availability based on user criteria, the company said.
