DeFi Technologies (DEFT) said Monday that it has named co-founder Johan Wattenstrom as chief executive officer and executive chairman, effective upon the departure of his predecessor.
Wattenstrom succeeds Olivier Roussy Newton, who has resigned but will be appointed as a strategic advisor to the company beginning in December, the company said.
Shares of the company were down over 4% in recent premarket activity.
