Air China Logs Higher Passenger Capacity, Count in October

Air China (SHA:601111, HKG:0753) logged passenger capacity of 32.0 billion available seat kilometers, up 4.3% from the previous year, in October.

Passenger count rose 5.7% year over year to 14.3 million, according to a filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Cargo capacity slipped 0.9% to 1.17 billion available freight tonne-kilometers, while cargo carried increased 3.1% to 141,835 tonnes.

Shares of the airline rose 1% in recent trade.
