Nam Cheong's Q3 Attributable Profit Slides 3%; Shares Down 11%

Nam Cheong's (SGX:1MZ) attributable profit to owners in Q3 declined by 3% to 45.8 million ringgit from 47.1 million ringgit a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company were down nearly 11% in Monday late-morning trade.

Earnings per share dropped to 0.1136 ringgit, compared with 0.1174 ringgit in the comparable period.

Revenue declined 15% year over year to 170.8 million ringgit from 200.4 million ringgit, mainly due to lower vessel utilization.
