The construction contracts signed by Guangdong Songfa Ceramics (SHA:603268) subsidiary Hengli Shipbuilding for two crude carriers have taken effect, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Hengli will construct two 306,000-ton very large crude carriers for a European shipowner for $200 million to $300 million, according to the filing.
Delivery is slated between the fourth quarter of 2027 and the second quarter of 2028.
Meanwhile, Hengli also signed a contract for six 114,000-deadweight-ton crude oil and product oil carriers for between $400 million and $600 million, the filing said.
