Australian Business Getting Lift From Cyclical Upswing -- Market Talk

0458 GMT - Westpac's latest quarterly Australian business snapshot showed an encouraging improvement in cash flow conditions, with business balance sheets for small and medium enterprises and commercial firms in solid shape in 3Q, says Sian Fenner, head of Australian business and industry economics at Westpac. A cyclical upswing is underway across the economy, she adds. There is a genuine upswing in consumer demand and housing and the bank is more confident in the rebalancing of growth from public to private-led demand, she adds.
