Dilip Buildcon Emerges Lowest Bidder for Tender Worth INR50 Billion

Dilip Buildcon (NSE:DBL, BOM:540047) has emerged as the lowest bidder for the tender floated by the National Aluminium Company (NSE:NATIONALUM, BOM:532234) for projects worth 50 billion Indian rupees, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The tender is for a mine developer and operator (MDO) contract for the development and operation of the Pottangi bauxite mines along with an overland conveyor corridor (OLCC) and allied facilities.

The contract entails engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work worth 17.5 billion rupees for three years for 7 million tons, and mining of 77 million tons for 22 years worth 32.5 billion rupees.

The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
