HeartBeam (BEAT) shares sank 56% after the company reported Friday receiving a "Not Substantially Equivalent" letter from the US Food and Drug Administration regarding the 510(k) application for its 12-Lead Electrocardiogram Synthesis Software.

More than 8.3 million shares of the company traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 88,000.

Oracle (ORCL) shares fell amid mounting concerns over risk related to its AI capital expenditure. The company's 5-year credit default swaps, which reflect the cost of protecting its debt, have surged past 110 basis points, the highest in three years, according to a report from FXStreet.

Shares dropped 4.8% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 31.8 million from a daily average of roughly 25.2 million.

Geospace Technologies (GEOS) reported a drop in fiscal Q4 sales and a narrower loss from a year earlier.

Shares slumped 23% as intraday trading volume rose to over 662,000 from a daily average of about 212,000.
