Estrella Resources (ASX:ESR) said diamond and reverse circulation drilling encountered broad limestone intersections at the Werumata project in Timor-Leste, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling at the project till data confirms that the project has the potential to define a large calcite resource, the filing said.
However, the company does not expect to meet the Nov. 30 deadline to define a Joint Ore Reserves Committee resource of at least 500 million tonnes of limestone, from an interpreted calcite deposit, the filing added.
It expects to complete drilling at Werumata in December, the filing said.
