China Energy Engineering (SHA:601868, HKG:3996) named Deputy Chairman Ni Zhen as its new chair, a Nov. 21 Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Shares of the Chinese state-owned energy conglomerate were up nearly 2% in Monday afternoon trading.
Ni will cease to serve as the firm's general manager following the appointment.
