Chery Set for Strong Earnings Growth Ahead -- Market Talk

Dow Jones11-24

0710 GMT - Chery is "firing on all cylinders," with strong earnings growth expected ahead as it rolls out a new product lineup featuring appealing intelligent-vehicle technologies, Deutsche Bank analyst Bin Wang says in a note. He forecasts Chery's sales volume to rise 12% in 2026, and estimates overseas volume to grow at 17% CAGR in 2025-2026. Net profit is projected to expand at 18% CAGR over 2024-2027. Gross margins are set to improve thanks to rapid top-line growth, increasing revenue contribution from higher-margin products and a turnaround in its Russia business, Wang adds. Deutsche Bank has a buy rating and a HK$46.00 target price on the stock, which is last at HK$30.26. (jason.chau@wsj.com)
