Lotus Holdings to Write Off Over 817 Million Yuan in Bad Debts

Lotus Holdings (SHA:600186) plans to write off 817.4 million yuan in unrecoverable long-term receivables, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.

The food products and condiments maker's shares rose over 1% during Monday's afternoon trade.

The bad debts, including those of subsidiary Lotus Food & Trade, are already more than ten years old.
