Emerson Electric (EMR) on Thursday introduced financial targets for 2028 and reiterated its 2026 Q1 and full-year guidance.
The company said its 2028 targets include adjusted earnings per share of $8 on net sales of $21 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $7.66 and $20.89 billion, respectively.
Emerson also said it plans to return $10 billion to shareholders via share repurchases and increased dividends.
The company reiterated its fiscal 2026 Q1 outlook of adjusted EPS of about $1.40 on net sales growth of about 4%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect adjusted EPS of $1.41.
The company maintained its fiscal 2026 guidance of adjusted EPS of $6.35 to $6.55 on net sales growth of about 5.5%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect adjusted EPS of $6.47.
Shares of Emerson were down over 2% in recent Thursday trading.
