Dow Jones11-26

1755 ET - HP expects a transition to Windows 11 to continue driving PC demand into next year, CEO Enrique Lores says during a call with analysts. The company estimates that about 60% of the install base has moved to Windows 11, with the conversion progressing at a faster pace in the enterprise space and in North America, Lores says. Going forward, HP expects a boost as small- to medium-sized businesses and customers in Europe and Asia install the new operating system and upgrade their aging PCs, he says.
