Hot Chili (ASX:HCH) said phase two drilling at the La Verde copper-gold discovery in Chile confirmed the convergence of higher-grade copper-gold mineralization centers at depth, and expanded both the vertical and lateral extent of the higher-grade mineralization center, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered an intercept of 529 meters at 0.41% copper and 0.21 grams per tonne grade of gold from 41 meters to the end of the hole. Around 2,700 meters of drilling have been completed as part of the program.
Its shares jumped 7% in recent trading on Thursday.
