LG Display (KRX:034220) promoted executive director Choi Young-seok, head of the Production Technology Center, to vice president and appointed him as the company's new chief technology officer.
As CTO, Choi will lead the development of new display technologies with better business requirements, LG Display said in a Thursday release.
Shares of LG Display rose nearly 1% at market close.
