Karrie International Reports Flat Fiscal H1 Profit; Shares Rise 3%

Karrie International (HKG:1050) reported HK$101.7 million in profit attributable to owners for the six months ended Sept. 30, little changed from HK$101.8 million a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the metal and plastic company were up over 3% in Thursday morning trade.

Earnings per share came in at HK$0.05, the same as in the prior-year period.

Revenue rose 5% to HK$1.61 billion from HK$1.53 billion.

The board declared an interim dividend of HK$0.015 per share, down from HK$0.025 a year earlier, payable on Dec. 31 to shareholders on record as of Dec. 16.
