China Dongxiang's Fiscal H1 Profit Jumps 49%

China Dongxiang (HKG:3818) reported 203.8 million yuan in attributable profit for the six months ended Sept. 30, up nearly 49% from 137 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Earnings per share for the fiscal first half came in at 0.0347 yuan, compared with 0.0234 yuan in the prior-year period.

Revenue was 748.1 million yuan, little changed from 748.9 million yuan a year earlier.

The board declared an interim dividend of 0.0104 yuan per share and an interim special dividend of 0.0104 yuan per share, bringing total payouts to 0.0208 yuan per share, the filing said.

The dividends will be paid on or around Dec. 23 to shareholders on record as of Dec. 12.
