Mongolia Energy (HKG:0276) reported a HK$740.2 million loss attributable to owners of the company in the six months ended Sept. 30, widening from a HK$442.9 million loss a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the coal producer were up over 1% in Thursday morning trade.
Loss per share came in at HK$3.93, compared with HK$2.35 in the prior-year period.
Revenue fell to HK$871.1 million from HK$1.70 billion.
