Alight is parting ways with Dave Guilmette, its chief executive and vice chairman, and has hired Crawford & Co. executive Rohit Verma to take the helm of the cloud-based human capital technology and services provider.
Alight on Monday said Guilmette will leave his posts at the Lincolnshire, Ill., company at the end of the year in a departure that will be treated as a termination without cause.
Guilmette has been vice chairman since July 2024 and CEO since August 2024.
Verma, 51 years old, will join Alight as CEO and a member of the board on Jan. 1 after serving as president and CEO of claims management and outsourcing solutions provider Crawford since May 2020.
Crawford last week announced Verma's planned departure.
Alight said Verma will receive an annual base salary of $900,000, a make-whole cash bonus of $800,000 and a target annual bonus of $1.8 million.
