Shares of Chinese electric-vehicle maker NIO rose Tuesday after the company reported a narrower third-quarter loss.
NIO posted a loss in the period of 3.66 billion yuan, versus a year-earlier loss of 5.14 billion yuan.
Revenue rose 17% to 21.79 billion yuan
U.S.-listed Shares of NIO rose 3.7% premarket trading, while S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures each were down 0.2%.
Coming into Tuesday, NIO stock has risen 32% this year. A sales rebound helped investor sentiment. Through October, NIO sold about 270,000 vehicles, up 60% year over year.
