ACME Platinum Urja, a subsidiary of Acme Solar (NSE:ACMESOLAR, BOM:544283), has executed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for its 200 MW solar project 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage system, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The PPA is for the supply of renewable energy during solar hours and peak hours as per the buyer's schedule. The tariff under the PPA has been fixed at 3.42 rupees per unit.
In July 2024, the SECI had awarded the letter of award to ACME Solar for a cumulative capacity of 350 MW, out of which the company had already signed a PPA for 150 MW in October 2024.
The project is scheduled to be commissioned by June 2027.
The company's shares were up nearly 2% in recent trade.
