1223 ET - GitLab's worsening growth trends and conservative outlook are raising further questions around its potential to reaccelerate growth, D.A. Davidson analyst Lucky Schreiner says in a note. The federal government shutdown introduced new headwinds in the latest quarter, and while management did not quantify the impact, the public sector represents 12% of GitLab's annual recurring revenue, Schreiner says. Recent changes with its go-to-market strategy and softness with small- and mid-sized businesses also continue to weigh on guidance, he says. "We continue to view GitLab as a critical player throughout the software development lifecycle but see minimal upside to revenue near term," he says. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
