Huntsman is experiencing an unplanned outage at its Polyurethanes facility in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The Woodlands, Texas, chemicals maker said the outage is likely to have a $10 million negative impact on its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization in the fourth quarter.

As a result, fourth-quarter Ebitda is expected to be at the low end of the $25 million to $50 million range the company previously shared.

The larger of two MDI lines at the facility is impacted and expected to resume production by mid-December, Huntsman said.

Excluding the outage, the quarter is trending as previously expected.
