JA Solar Technology (SHE:002459) and Chint New Energy Technology agreed to end their patent disputes worldwide, according to a joint statement released Saturday.
The two companies also agreed to settle cross-licensing for patents on TOPCon, JA Solar said.
Both firms also said they will forego all future patent-related litigation.
The statement follows that of LONGi Green Energy Technology (SHA:601012) and Jinko Solar (SHA:688223), which released a similar statement in September to promote a "virtuous cycle of competition," Bloomberg reported the same day. .
