Deere (DE) said Thursday it has named Brian Sikes to its board.
Sikes is the chair and chief executive of Cargill.
The appointment expands the size of Deere's board to 11 members, 10 of whom are independent, the company said.
Sikes joined Cargill 1991, and was named president and chief executive in 2023, the company said.
