Hyatt Hotels (H) on Wednesday outlined a slate of high-end hotel openings for 2026 and said it named Tamara Lohan to lead its luxury brands as interim global brand leader.
Lohan joined Hyatt in 2023 through the acquisition of boutique platform Mr & Mrs Smith and will oversee global luxury brand strategy and guest experience, the company said.
The company said it plans to open Miraval The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia in Q1 as the wellness brand's first resort outside the US, with 180 rooms and suites on Shura Island.
Hyatt also said it expects 2026 openings and reopenings across Park Hyatt, Alila, and The Unbound Collection, including hotels in Japan, Mexico, Canada, Vietnam, Germany and France.
