China Maple Leaf Educational Systems (HKG:1317) reported a 308.9 million yuan profit attributable to owners of the company for the year ended Aug. 31, up from 15.5 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Nov. 28 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the private educational institute operator were down over 5% in Monday morning trade.
Earnings per share for the fiscal year 2025 came in at 0.1054 yuan, compared with 0.0052 yuan in the prior-year period.
Revenue fell to 1.18 billion yuan from 1.23 billion yuan.
