Nucor raised its dividend by 1 cent per share to 56 cents from 55 cents.
The new payout, equal to $2.24 on an annual basis, represents a dividend yield of 1.4%, based on Monday's closing price of $160.70 a share.
The dividend will be paid on Feb. 11 to stockholders of record as of Dec. 31, the company said.
