JetBlue Airways (JBLU) said Tuesday it has resumed normal operations after completing the required software updates on its on its A320 and A321 fleet by the Federal Aviation Authority.
The updates were mandated after an A320 Family aircraft issue revealed that intense solar radiation may corrupt data critical to the functioning of flight controls, Airbus said last week.
JetBlue said the issue reduced its Q4 available seat mile growth by about 0.25%, and it continues to assess any potential financial impact.
