ASP Isotopes co-founder Paul Mann will return to the helm of the advanced-materials company early next year after a medical leave of absence.

ASP on Tuesday said Mann, who stepped aside as chief executive of the Washington-based company earlier this year following orthopaedic surgery, is now able to travel again and will resume full day-to-day CEO duties on Jan. 19.

He will also continue as executive chairman, ASP said.

ASP said Robert Ainscow, who co-founded the company with Mann and has been serving as interim CEO, will continue as chief operating officer.
