Prada Completes Versace Acquisition

Prada (HKG:1913) completed the acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings on Tuesday, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.

As part of the financing arrangement for the deal, The Hong Kong-listed fashion company entered into a facilities agreement worth 1.5 billion euro. Drawdown of the facilities is subject to certain conditions.

The firm also entered into a bilateral term loan of 200 million euro, whose drawdown took place alongside completion of the purchase.

The firm had first agreed to make the purchase in April.
