Sibanye Stillwater (SBSW) said Tuesday it has reached a three-year wage deal with the representative unions at its gold mines in South Africa, concluding negotiations that started in July.

The deal is effective from July 1 through June 30, 2028, and provides for an estimated average three-year basic wage increase of about 5.4% per year, including all benefits, the company said.

Sibanye Stillwater said the wage deal covers employees under the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union, the National Union of Mineworkers, UASA, and Solidarity.
