TotalEnergies (TTE) said Tuesday that its partners in the Mozambique LNG project have agreed to provide additional equity to replace the contributions of UK Export Finance and Atradius.
The share of the two export credit agencies was around 10% of external financing for the project, the company said.
TotalEnergies said its partners decided to proceed without the participation of the export credit agencies after the project's Force Majeure period was lifted, as both agencies failed to reconfirm their commitment at the time.
